LEGAL PRINCIPLES

1. Letter of Director General of Higher Education No: 1365/D/T/2005 10 May 2005, has established Education Management Doctoral Program.
2. Director General of Higher Education letter No. 449/D/T/2007 dated March 7, 2007 concerning an extension of the implementation of the study program Management Education.
3.  Director General of Higher Education letter No. 2909/D/T/KN/2010 dated 9 July 2010 on the extension of Doctoral Program of Education Management at  Semarang State University.

VISION

Doctoral Program of Education Management which reliable in high personal integrity; based on Pancasila principle; future oriented; concern on the priciple of harmony, balance, and alignment between global, regional, national, and local insight; up hold the code ethic of profession; and loving the almamater based o conservation.

MISSION

Holding educational activities in educatively academic atmosphere, up hold high morality principles based on rational, standard of transparancy, effectivity, effisiency, and accountability prosedures.

AIMS

1. Developing the new concept by holding educational research especially in the field of education management;
2. Producing the candidate of lecturer in the field of education management who are able to teach the courses for master program or under graduate program of their descipline in every educational institution which require it in their courses.
3. Preparing professionals who are able to lead and manage university (rectore, vice rectore, dean, vice dean, head of department, head of research institude of education), high school and primary school, education beyond school, and the leader of othe institution of national education.
4. Improving the quality of academic or professional education officer who have personality qualifications as follows:

• Has faithful personal integrity and devoted to God Almighty, upholding the values of Pancasila, ethical / moral, scientific honesty, open and responsive to the development of sciences and problems faced by people in accordance with their expertise.
• Able to play an active role in solving problems of management and leadership education or profession at the regional, national and international, so they are able to contribute for the development of  nation and give beneficial for mankind in general.
• Uphold professional code of ethics and have pride and love for their almamater.
• Having professionalism (proud of his job, shows a professional commitment for quality, a great responsibility, anticipate in order to get more inovation, complete tasks thoroughly and involved in various tasks outside of their role, always learn how to improve their services, listen to the needs of their customers, and be a good player in a team, reliable, honest, frank, loyal and open to constructive criticism, and have a willing to improve and refine themselves).
• Having an ability to conduct an interdisciplinary approach to the application of their expertise professionaly.
